I've grown my email lists to 40,000+ subscribers from X.
Now an AI agent pings me when a post takes off. I say go, and it builds the free guide, landing page and full email flow in one run.
Here's the exact setup. https://x.com/i/article/2118136322531495936
How You Can Turn Your X Posts Into 40,000+ Email Subscribers With Grok Bot (Full Course)
I've brought more than 40,000 email subscribers onto my email lists from X.
One reply I left under my own post got 6,047 views and brought in 113 of them.
I'm giving you the agent I'd set up to do this today. It scans your niche, drafts your posts, and then watches every one you publish.
When a post starts taking off, it pings you. You reply "go", and in one run it builds the free guide, the landing page, the whole email flow with tags, and the reply that links to it.
You only build for the posts that prove themselves. My 113-subscriber reply happened that way. I built its page after the post took off.
The full agent is at the bottom, ready to paste into Grok Bot or Claude Code. Everything above it shows you why each stage is in there.
What's in here:
1. How to find what your audience wants
1. The 4 post formats that get saved
1. The takeoff alert: build only for winners
1. What it builds in one go, and what that did for me
1. The full agent, copy-paste
1. How to run it in Grok Bot
1. Find What Your Audience Wants
My most-saved post of the year was a Grokbot workflow.
It said you could pull $20k a month building websites for penny stocks, and showed how to point Grokbot at OTC Markets and SEC filings to find the tiny public companies still running a website from 2004.
It got 2,235 bookmarks on 94,502 views. About 1 in 42 people who saw it saved it.
Look for that kind of ratio in your niche. Somebody bigger in your niche posted on your topic this month, and their bookmarks and replies show you what people wanted more of.
Rank posts by bookmarks per 1,000 views, and write about whatever people are saving.
Stage 1 of the agent does this every Monday. For an AI-tools niche, it comes back looking like this (example output):
Every question on that list is a post you can write this week.
2. Write Posts in the 4 Formats That Get Saved
I went through my most-saved posts and four formats kept coming up.
Each of them gives the reader something specific to take away.
1. The opportunity: "You could pull $X a month doing Y for Z." The $20k-a-month penny stock websites post above: 2,235 bookmarks. A post about a guide on how to do a handstand making $80,000 a month: 783.
1. The receipt: hours, cost in tools, and what it built. My post that opened "10 hours of work. $200 in tools.": 1,159 bookmarks.
1. The tool setup: the tool, then steps they can follow today. A walkthrough of GPT Sol and Astra for browser work: 1,778 bookmarks.
1. The big-number explainer: a figure people can't picture, made concrete. My post that measured billionaire spending in Ferraris (a mega yacht is 1,400 of them) hit 455,983 views.
Don't chase views for this. My most-viewed post of the past year was a story about a tuk tuk driver in Cambodia asking if I wanted to go shoot guns.
558,865 views. Only 644 bookmarks.
The penny stock websites post got more than three times the saves on a sixth of the views. The saves come from posts that teach something, and the people who save a post are the ones who give you an email.
The receipt is the easiest one to start with, because you only need something you actually did. My "10 hours of work" post was a favor for a friend. Her coaching business had 12k+ Instagram followers and no email list at all, and in about a day I had Claude write 20 newsletters in her voice.
Stage 2 of the agent picks the format for each topic and drafts two posts in your voice, ending on a line that makes people want the detailed version.
3. Build Only for the Posts That Take Off
Writing a guide, a page and three emails for every post would eat your week.
So the agent waits. It checks each post you publish at 1, 3 and 6 hours and compares it to your own median.
When a post is pulling more bookmarks per 1,000 views than your median, you get a message with the link, its numbers and a guide idea.
You reply "go" or ignore it. Nothing gets built until you say so.
A post that takes off gets the full funnel while people are still finding it. The rest never cost you anything beyond writing them.
Stages 3 and 4 of the agent do this. The alert looks like this (example output):
4. One "Go" Builds the Whole Funnel
The "10 hours of work" post is the one that brought in the 113 subscribers. I had no page and no guide for it when it went up:
Two hours and 25 minutes after it went up, I replied to it with one line and a link:
"Want a more detailed breakdown of how I added that $50k+ in 10 hours / Check it out here"
The reply got 6,047 views, and Kit tagged every signup from it as "ai infrastructure playbook":
That's one new subscriber for every 54 people who saw it. Run the same math on a reply with 500 views and that's about 9 new subscribers.
I built the guide and the landing page after the post started taking off. The agent does the same for every post of yours that takes off.
When you reply "go", stage 5 of the agent builds all of it in one run:
1. The free guide: the post expanded, with the top questions from the replies answered.
1. The landing page: one screen, the post's first line as the headline, its own Kit tag.
1. The email flow: the guide right away, the best idea from it on day 2, a real story on day 4.
1. The tags: a "What brings you here today?" question on the thank-you page, with exploring, starting a business and running one as Kit tags.
1. The plug reply: three drafts for you to pick from and post.
You read it, fix what's off, publish the page and post the reply yourself.
I once ran a 40k list split into 200+ segments. That only works if you tag people from the first day, which is why the tags come in the same run.
The plug reply doesn't have to be clever. Under a post about Lego x Pokemon sets, well outside my usual topics, I wrote "Wrote up a quick breakdown on the math behind this play (and 3 other sets with similar ROI potential)".
That reply pulled 180,389 views on its own:
5. The Full Agent: Paste This and Run It
This is the whole thing in one prompt. It scans and drafts on Monday, watches every post you publish, pings you when one takes off, and builds the full funnel after your "go".
It never posts anything. Every draft waits for you.
In Claude Code, save it as a skill and fill in the brackets.
6. Run It in Grok Bot
I'd run it in Grok Bot, since it can read X and run on a schedule without you opening it.
1. Connect X and paste in your Kit API key. That's how I connect mine, and it lets the agent create tags and draft emails in your account.
1. Paste the agent into a chat and fill in the brackets.
1. Make it a routine: "Run stages 1 and 2 every Monday at 8am, check each new post at 1, 3 and 6 hours, message me when one takes off, and send the stage 6 report every Friday."
On Monday you edit drafts and post. When a post takes off, you get a ping, reply "go", and approve what comes back.
The Checklist
Screenshot this one:
- weekly niche scan running, ranked by bookmarks per 1,000 views
- posts drafted in the 4 formats: opportunity, receipt, tool setup, big-number explainer
- one bio link to a page that asks for the email first
- a takeoff alert on every post, checked at 1, 3 and 6 hours
- one "go" builds the guide, page, emails and tags for the winners only
- a plug reply under your own post, posted by you
Bookmark this so you have the agent when you sit down to write your next post.
Reply with your niche and I'll tell you which of the four formats I'd post first.
