Tech backlash films reach theaters, targeting Zuckerberg, Musk, Altman, and Holmes

Several 2026 films take a critical view of Silicon Valley figures, including Aaron Sorkin's The Social Reckoning on Mark Zuckerberg and Alex Gibney's Musk documentary.

Gibney's film has faced resistance: X blocked its promotion, and Musk has threatened legal action against Gibney, calling it a "hit piece." Amazon backed out of distributing Luca Guadagnino's Artificial, which is set to release widely on December 25th.
