NYSOFA expands ElliQ AI companion program with Intuition Robotics for seniors

The New York State Office for the Aging extended its partnership with Intuition Robotics in a new three-year, $2.1 million agreement to bring the ElliQ AI companion to more aging New Yorkers at risk of loneliness and social isolation.

The 2026 program data reports 94% of users feel less lonely and 92% find ElliQ useful, with participants engaging an average of 48 times per day. More than 3,500 older adults applied to participate in 2025 alone.
