Baidu APP upgrades search with recursive self-evolution and cheaper search API
AIBaidu says its search has achieved recursive self-evolution and that its upgraded search AI API costs as little as 4.9 yuan per thousand calls during the promotion, below DeepSeek's search API. The upgraded Baidu APP adds Wenxin Assistant, which delivers finished outputs for complex requests and tracks long-term tasks across more than 170 scenarios. AI Lens now supports multi-target recognition and dialogue in nine dialects, including Northeastern Mandarin, Sichuan dialect and Cantonese.
