Allie K. Miller says computer use agents can learn to operate tools without APIs

AISummary

Allie K. Miller says computer use agents can operate any paid tool that lacks an API by learning a recorded skill. She advises users to record a skill for a weekly 20-minute browser task, have the agent run it one to three times with edits, and compare results next month.

We still haven't seen the ceiling of computer use.

Not even close.

99% of the people I've shown "record a skill" to had no idea the feature existed.

Any tool you pay for that has no API is now something an AI agent can learn to operate.

Try this: take the most boring 20-minute browser task you do every week (preferably medium value, zero-to-low risk) and hand it to a computer use agent (I prefer Codex). Record a skill for it. Watch it run 1-3 times and give it edits. Run it again next month and compare.
