Simon Willison releases web-edit 0.1a0, a Python web app for editing files from a phone

Simon Willison says he built web-edit 0.1a0, a Python web app with a browser UI for viewing and editing files in a folder. He built it with Codex and GPT-6 Astra Extra High so he could edit a credentials file from his phone without sending the credentials through an LLM. The app uses CodeMirror 6 for editing, and he says it is meant to run over Tailscale.
