How to get the most out of running dbt on Databricks

Databricks says running dbt on its platform can cut pipeline costs and speed up builds through incremental strategies, materialized views, and automated table maintenance.

The post recommends matching each dbt incremental strategy to how data arrives, such as append, merge, or replace_where, and says materialized views delivered a 17x speedup over full recomputes in its TPC-DI benchmark.
