Z.ai founder Tang Jie says self-improving AI is key to AGI, but safety is essential
AITang Jie, co-founder of Z.ai and a Tsinghua University professor, said at a Shanghai event on Saturday that recursive self-improvement is the main research problem for achieving artificial general intelligence. He said this would have to be done safely.
