Original titleMistlabs takes its Ambi AI system out of beta on Apple devices with $26M in funding
Mistlabs has released its Ambi ambient AI system from beta on Macs and Apple devices running iOS 18, backed by a $26 million Pre-A round led by Luminous Ventures and Huaqin Technology.
Ambi learns from conversations heard on users' iPhone, Apple Watch, or Mac, and its agents can fact-check meetings and draft proposals.
Mistlabs plans agent-to-agent negotiation in the coming months and a standalone wearable later this year, with audio storage off by default.
The article details how Ambi's agents coordinate across devices and plan to negotiate between users, which clarifies the product's scope beyond its funding news.
