Agentcard's marketing lead explains how he makes its launch videos with AI

AIAgentcard's marketing lead says he makes the company's videos in one to two days, using ChatGPT to create characters and scripts and Higgsfield with Seedance 2.5 1080p to generate clips. He edits everything himself in CapCut and says hand-made motion graphics still look better than AI-generated ones.

How I make our videos (and other chronically online tales)

We just launched our agentcard.com video, so I wanted to share how I make all the videos for @agentcardhq (and give us a follow you digital rat!). More or less in order.

It takes me 1-2 days depending on the video, some take more of course. The hard part is the idea. Like in any other product.

1. The idea

I can't explain creativity, it's something you have to discover yourself and its freaking hard. But I can tell you what works for me (sometimes, because creative block is a thing too).

At Agentcard we all share a similar sense of humor and references, which helps a lot. And I'm a chronically online person. I've seen so many launch videos, memes, movies. I love X, I love sh*tposting, Tiktok, Instagram, I had Tumblr, you name it.

Get your inspiration from what surrounds you. Sometimes the most mundane thing inspires you. Write it down. Ideas don't have to be perfect, you have to let them sit. Talk to people.

It's also important to know the product, especially if you're working in tech as a non-technical person. If you're a founder doing marketing, you have that solved. I worked as a software engineer building product for almost 7 years, so I understand the technical lingo and why things are important.

Also (and I'm still learning this) focus on understanding who you're talking to. Or better, who you want to talk to. Or better, who you want to listen to you.

If you're talking to US founders and you have no idea how that niche works, there will be a barrier there. You have to embed yourself, your feed has to be similar to what they might be seeing. Understand founder humor (do they have a sense of humor...?) and interests. I think that helps.

2. The characters

I make the characters in ChatGPT. Braxter, and also Karen and Pipe, who play themselves. Just send pictures or inspo and tell it to generate 4 profiles.

Then I use the same image as the reference (@higgsfield has a references box) in every clip, so they look the same in every shot. Sending a picture of the location helps too, and that can also be generated with ChatGPT.

3. The script

Sometimes I see the scene in my mind, like the vibe we want to give, what I think will be funny, but I don't know the exact words (and I'm not a native english speaker). So I start writing it down, or using AI to give my ideas more shape, so the video AI can understand it.

You can do it manually, yes. I prefer just vomiting my ideas in random order and shapes, that's how I see them in my brain. And the chat organizes them in a digestible way for, in this case, @higgsfield.

This is an example first prompt for a clip, before polishing:

"i think we can start with braxter murmuring, frustrated like 'agentcard.com, impossible task, i tried my best i know but...' idk something like this. then the other man hears him and hes like 'agentcard.com? im an investor there!'"

If you want different frames, emotions, clothing, lights, whatever, tell it to your agent and it will add it to the script.

4. Higgsfield

I upload the references and generate. I got better at prompting because I do a lot of trial and error, and honestly I'm not stingy with tokens. I may use more now, but that's how my AI learns to talk to other agents and write better scripts for them. Currently using Seedance 2.5 1080p.

5. The edit

Then I edit everything myself in @capcutapp. I'm a content creator, so I already had experience editing, but this is a different type of thing. I had no idea how to use keyframes before joining Agentcard, still learning!

There are many things I see and love and have no idea how to do, because of course an experienced editor is experienced for a reason. And (for now) motion graphics made by hand look 10 times better and smoother.

But this is my way of doing it now, while I learn how to give the best value doing it manually too.

I'm a product engineer turning into a marketing/design/editing/everything creature. I still have a lot of technical stuff to learn, and that's the fun part.

If you find this interesting, or have something to share that I might find interesting, don't hesitate to contact me.

And if you like what I do, interact with @agentcardhq. If you're building an AI agent, sign up for free (for companies up to 5,000 users): agentcard.com

You know how that works... bye!
