Forgepoint raises $9.8 million in seed funding, co-led by Primary Venture Partners and a16z Speedrun, to automate custom price quotes for manufacturers.

Its AI agent, Frank, acts as an "inside sales rep," reading customer requests, applying the manufacturer's pricing rules, and sending follow-up questions or technical requests to engineers when needed.

Forgepoint says early customers see a 30% increase in monthly quote throughput and a 55% drop in average quote time.
