VAST open-sources EdenLive, a real-time world model running over 24 FPS at 720P

VAST has released and open-sourced EdenLive, a real-time world model that generates video from simplified scenes or reference footage, with a target first frame and prompt setting the visual style.

On a single consumer Nvidia RTX 5090 at 720P, its 5B model generates above 24 FPS and can run for minutes, with end-to-end latency in the hundreds of milliseconds.

The company says an upstream interaction system maintains game state and rules while EdenLive handles rendering, and it released model weights, inference code, a tech report and a demo.
