5. Psychedelic echoes
Expanding silhouettes, bold patterns and hand-cut outlines build a moving collage behind your subject
Start with a clip with a clean background and try it in Magnific Move
Prompt:
Apply a psychedelic motion-echo collage to a subject video with a clean background. Capture successive frozen silhouettes and layer them behind the original subject, making each echo progressively larger to form an expanding concentric tunnel.
Give every cutout a thick, irregular yellow paper border. Fill each layer with a different bold pattern: floral prints, tropical foliage, geometric shapes, vintage textiles, halftone textures or marbled colours.
Use a handcrafted stop-motion rhythm. Let new silhouettes pop into view in irregular bursts, pause briefly, then expand outward behind the subject. Each snapshot must preserve an actual previous pose and remain clearly connected to the live movement.
Keep the original subject moving naturally in the foreground. Tactile 1970s psychedelic collage, strong graphic depth and vibrant printed textures. No transparent ghosting, smooth digital trails or camera cuts.
