AWS introduces "Trust in Depth" for giving AI agents more autonomy safely

AWS describes Trust in Depth, a layered framework for expanding AI agent autonomy by verifying scope, identity, runtime bounds, and observability. The post says automated reasoning can prove rules that can be stated precisely, while ambiguous rules go to human judgment. AWS says it has used automated reasoning in production for more than a decade, including in IAM.
