XGRIDS builds a 6.2 billion Gaussian 3D model of Fujian-Ningxia Town for CCTV documentary

XGRIDS says its 3D Gaussian model of Fujian-Ningxia Town covers 23.5 square kilometers and contains 6.2 billion Gaussian ellipsoids, trained from 186,000 aerial and ground images and 15 billion LiDAR points.

The company says it used the model in CCTV's documentary "Fujian-Ningxia Avenue," and that the scene was built in 7 days of field capture by three operators. The company's LCC Plugin for Unreal Engine loads the full model in Unreal Engine.
