Claude Code v2.1.312 is released with OIDC, cloud session, and bug-fix updates
AIAnthropic releases Claude Code v2.1.312, which adds an oidc.user_id_claim option to the Claude apps gateway so people can be identified by an id_token claim other than sub, such as Microsoft Entra ID's oid. The release also fixes bugs including a Read tool failure on PDF pages, lost managed settings after signing in from the VS Code extension, and cloud session errors, and it changes usage limit messages to call the 5-hour window the "5-hour limit."
