Replit CEO Amjad Masad says the future of work is the "self-driving company"

Replit CEO Amjad Masad says AI agents will handle much of the grunt work at companies, leaving people to focus on judgment and taste, a model he calls the "self-driving company." At Replit, agents first triage support tickets by reading GitHub issues, the codebase and Linear tickets, and a human then decides on and deploys the fix.

Masad says the shift has made people spend more time on what to build, architecture and whiteboarding.
