GLP-1 drug sales overtook generative AI revenue in 2025, Exponential View reports

GLP-1 sales reached $76 billion by the end of 2025, exceeding the $63 billion generative AI revenue Exponential View estimates for the same period.

More than twice as many Americans pay for GLP-1s as pay for AI, and the share of US adults taking a GLP-1 for weight loss rose from 3% in 2024 to 11%.
