AIa16z says it is leading Tutor Intelligence's Series B, a robotics company that deploys its robots into production before full autonomy, with human teleoperators called tutors training the robot foundation models. Tutor's robots operate across some of the country's largest manufacturing and logistics networks, and the company plans more than 1,000 robots under contract by the end of 2027.
