FBI arrests OpenAI engineer suspected of hiding recording device in conference room

The FBI arrested Abdulrahman Alfozan, an OpenAI engineer and permanent US resident, over a recording device allegedly hidden in a restricted executive conference room. The FBI says the device was planted on September 28 and was found by OpenAI on September 30, and CCTV footage allegedly shows Alfozan trying to retrieve it on October 5.
