Mistral AI releases Voxtral 3 speech models and a voice agent SDK
AIMistral AI released Voxtral 3, a family of three transcription models, a text-to-speech model, and a LiveKit-based voice agent SDK, all in public preview on the Mistral API. Mistral says Voxtral Small Transcribe 3 reaches 2.1% AA-WER on Artificial Analysis, while Voxtral Speech 3 costs $13 per 1M characters. The figures are self-reported by Mistral, and the source says no open weights were announced.
