AI could fully automate chip design, Cambricon co-founder Chen Yunji says
AICambricon Technologies co-founder Chen Yunji predicts that AI integration with chip design will eventually automate the entire chip design process. He says the most important development over the next 10 years will be recursive self-improvement, in which AI models improve AI models and AI chips improve AI chips.
