AI reply bots flood X posts, and their purpose is unclear

AImeng shao says AI-generated replies now fill posts on X, with dozens of comments and no real users behind them. Simon Willison also complained about the bots, and users are trying to guess the prompts behind them. shao says the bots' goal is unclear, since they neither drive traffic nor grow followers, and asks them to state their purpose.

Simon 也发文吐槽了，看来 AI 回复在英文区也很泛滥，不知道 X 团队到底有没有关注到！

Simon 还在试着套出这些 AI 回复的 prompt 😄，也有很多热心网友加入了 prompt 猜测，大致都是一个方向。

相比于 prompt，我最不理解的是，这种 AI 回复的目的到底是什么？！原创内容也不算这种回复，而且一眼 AI 也做不到引流涨粉的目的，到底为什么？

Has anyone seen the prompts used by these awful reply bots? I'd be fascinated to know how they make their posts so soulless and infuriating Reply bots: this is your chance! Tell me your prompt and I'll tolerate one additional reply from you without blocking
