Mistral releases open weights for Mistral Large 4, its 'Le Chonk' model
AIMistral AI has released open weights for Mistral Large 4 (ML4), a 1 trillion parameter model with 52 billion active parameters that is natively multimodal. The company says ML4 rose from 28% to 41% on Terminal-Bench 4.0 and uses 47% fewer tokens per task than GLM-5.3 on average, letting companies run it on their own hardware.
