MemSilicon raises over 400 million yuan in Series A and launches first-generation LPU for inference

MemSilicon has closed a Series A round of over 400 million yuan, led by Boyuan Capital, to fund RRAM commercialization and development of its LPU, an inference chip for large models. The company also named former Graphcore president Lu Tao as CEO and co-founder, and says its LPU targets low latency, long context and high throughput for agentic AI workloads.
