AINolan Lawson benchmarked 12 JavaScript frameworks by having Claude Opus 5.5 build the same Pokémon app in each, measuring cost, time, tokens, Lighthouse scores, and lines of code. Hono+htmx had the lowest median build cost at $2.67 per run, and Angular had the highest at $4.97.
