ServiceNow adds AI agent controls and employee automation tools

ServiceNow announces AI Passport, a cryptographically signed credential that defines an AI agent's identity, permitted actions, accessible systems and accountable owner, issued through its AI Control Tower governance platform.

The company also updates its EmployeeWorks portal so employees can build assistants and automate routine tasks without writing code.

AI Passport, shadow AI detection and AI Cost Management will be available later this quarter, while Operational Resilience for financial services is available now.
