Google brings Gemini 4 Argon and a tasks mode to Pro and Ultra subscribers

Google has released its Gemini 4 Argon model to Gemini app users on its Pro and Ultra plans, two weeks after vetted cybersecurity defenders got it first.

Subscribers also get a tasks mode that keeps Gemini working after they leave the computer, with more than 40 connected apps, and Argon is available through the paid Gemini API at introductory rates of $2 per million input tokens and $10 per million output tokens until Nov.
