Lib Dems urge Westminster smart glasses ban after Reform AM's suspected teleprompter use

Liberal Democrats wrote to Commons Speaker Lindsay Hoyle urging a ban on smart glasses on the parliamentary estate after Reform UK Senedd member Jason O'Connell was suspected of using smart glasses as teleprompters during a Senedd speech.

O'Connell has been contacted for comment. The UK parliament says it is reviewing its policy on camera-equipped smart glasses and other wearable technology on its estate.
