Replit ends its Anthropic partnership, CEO Amjad Masad says

Replit CEO Amjad Masad said at TechCrunch Disrupt that the company is no longer working with Anthropic, citing cost, partnership, and performance.

He said ChatGPT now performs better on building vibe-coded applications from scratch, according to Replit's public benchmark.

An insider said the partnership was still in place, and a September Replit blog post listed Claude Fable 5 and Claude Fable 5.1 as running in Replit Agent's production environment.
