Databricks says AI coding agent costs fell up to 90% after a control layer
AIDatabricks says it cut unit costs for AI coding agents by as much as 90% after building Unity Gateway, a control layer between developers and models. The company says moving traffic to cheaper models gave it the largest gain, at 50% or more, with spend warnings, approvals and downshifts also in place.
