SanDisk says customers underestimate NAND needs as AI inference drives long-term orders
AISanDisk executives said on its fiscal Q1 2027 earnings call that customers underestimate the NAND capacity needed for AI infrastructure. About 50% of fiscal 2027 bit shipments are locked in by NBM agreements, a share expected to rise to about two-thirds in fiscal 2028.
