Stop using LLMs to help you write code, and use them to write better code faster

AIElvis Saravia says developers should focus on enabling LLMs to write better code faster, not just using them to help write code. He adds that orchestration and systems thinking matter more than ever, and that teams should measure LLMs, automations, and workflows through rigorous evals.

Highly recommended read.

Stop focusing on using LLMs to help you write better code.

Instead, focus on enabling the LLM to write better code faster.

I agree that skills like orchestration and systems thinking matter more than ever. I'd also add understanding how to constantly measure the effectiveness of those LLMs, automations, and workflows through rigorous evals.
