Hugging Face’s CEO Says His P(Doom) Is ‘Close to Zero’
AIHugging Face CEO Clément Delangue said at the WIRED World Fair in Miami that his P(doom), the probability of AI causing existential catastrophe, is "close to zero." He said most future AI risk comes from a few companies building behind closed doors, and that open ecosystems are the main mitigation. Delangue also said agentic cyberattacks should be illegal and that those who deploy AI agents should be legally responsible for their actions.
