Apps for Caregivers Get a Dose of AI, but That Might Not Be Enough
AICaregiver apps including Medisafe, Caring Village, Mejo, Briggzy, and Citizen Health are adding AI features such as assistants and health teammates. Citizen Health's Ari, currently in beta, texts caregivers and patients and can access medical records and Google Calendar, while Harvard Law professor I. Glenn Cohen notes that most of these tools are not reviewed by the FDA and are not covered by HIPAA.
