Waymo plans to launch its robotaxi service in Toronto in 2028

Waymo says it will launch its fully autonomous ride-hailing service in Toronto, with first riders expected in 2028. Before then, it will map local streets in high definition and test with trained specialists behind the wheel. Element Fleet Management will provide end-to-end fleet management, with Waymo planning to create hundreds of roles over time.
