DeepSeek releases Harness v0.2.1-rc1 with plugin index and session updates

DeepSeek published Harness v0.2.1-rc1, the first release candidate of the 0.2.1 series for its open-source agent runtime.

New features include installing plugins from custom index sources, an agent-driven plugin creation entry, a working_directory tool and TypeScript and Python SDK interfaces for switching a session's working directory.

A separate report says a model entry named deepseek-v4.1-flash-1017 briefly appeared in DeepSeek's API model list before being removed, and DeepSeek has not commented on it.
