With Instinct, my Google usage has dropped 90%.
And before you all complain in the comments, if you leave the X sphere, you’d hear most people still use Google too. I continued to use traditional search for the last four years since ChatGPT came out, not as much but continued.
Why? Tbh I found it annoying to open the Chat app when I could open any browser and just dictate to the url bar. App load had more lag than browser load. The answer took more time. I didn’t want/need everything stored in my Chat memory. And Google AI overview, after the rocks in pizza debacle, really improved.
I’m in iMessage all the time. It’s on my computer and phone and faster than an app. And if Dots were on iMessage, I’d use that instead.
