DeepSeek releases Ascend versions of its core kernel toolkit

DeepSeek has released an Ascend toolkit that mirrors its Nvidia components, including TileLang, DeepGEMM, DeepEP, TileKernels, FlashMLA and DeepSelect. It says every TileLang kernel used in its training now has a high-performance Ascend implementation.

The post also reports that a 128-card Ascend 950 supernode, jointly optimized with Huawei, has key compute and communication tests approaching hardware limits.
