China seeks comment on robot identification code measures covering all robot categories
AIChina's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology is seeking public feedback through December 5 on draft interim measures for robot product identification codes, giving each machine a unique identity across industrial, service and special-purpose robots. The proposal follows a notice published November 6, and the national standard it references, GB/T 48541-2026, is itself still at the consultation stage.
