A developer reverse-engineered the firmware of a Nokia 110 4G and built a native AI chat app that runs on the phone. The app sends typed messages to the DeepSeek chat API and uses tool calls to check battery level, toggle the torch, start calls, and set alarms. It runs as a prototype loaded into RAM from a computer, so it must be reloaded after a restart or power-off.
