RemoveMacAI app deletes Apple Intelligence from Mac and frees 11.7GB
Original titleThis new Mac app helps you delete Apple Intelligence and saved me 12GB
TechRadar's Alex Blake tested RemoveMacAI, a Mac app that wraps a Terminal command for removing Apple Intelligence files. He says it freed 11.7GB of storage.
He reports that macOS refused to run the app because it is unsigned and not notarized, and the app installs a custom profile to apply its changes.
The author says the app's developer claims System Integrity Protection stays enabled and that it makes no network requests or telemetry collection.
The author tested the app firsthand, showing how it removes Apple Intelligence and the unsigned-app and profile warnings a user should expect before trying it.
