Man uses ChatGPT to beat a three-year parking ticket dispute

Essex man Rafal Gorfal used ChatGPT to answer debt collector letters and draft his defence over a £100 Newquay parking fine that grew to about £300. Smart Parking Limited dropped the case and fine on September 25, weeks before a scheduled October 2026 court appearance. Gorfal said he appealed to the company, but the company did not comment after the case was dropped.
