iQiyi details how it embedded AI across its drama production pipeline

iQiyi has applied generative AI across drama production, from its Script Workshop tool that evaluates scripts to its Image Workshop for concept art and storyboards.

The report cites usage figures, including 10 million concept images generated in Q1 2025, and says virtual production prices were cut from 160,000 yuan to 35,000 yuan per day.

It also describes the AI companion platform Taodou World, which hosts over 1,000 characters from more than 100 IPs.
