OpenAI's Codex now predicts users' next messages in beta

AISummary

Sherwin Wu, who owns OpenAI's account context here, says he has been tab-accepting about 40-50% of Codex's next-message suggestions after a week of use. OpenAI Devs says composer predictions, which suggest a user's next message from the conversation and their style, are in beta for Pro users.

For anyone scoffing at the idea that Codex could possibly predict your next message – I was there too 😬

Thought there would be no way it could predict what I'd ask for next. But after a week of using it, I'm tab-accepting probably 40-50% of the suggestions.

Now in beta: composer predictions in Codex for Pro users. Codex can now suggest your next message based on your conversation and how you talk to it. One of the most loved new features we've ever tested internally.
