Shigeru Miyamoto says everyone can now make games with generative AI

AIShigeru Miyamoto, creator of Super Mario and The Legend of Zelda, says generative AI has made it possible for people who are not game designers to make games. He says that if the definition of a game is broadened, everyone can now make one, and he calls this a very good era because the boundary between creators and players has disappeared.

Shigeru Miyamoto, creator of Super Mario and The Legend of Zelda, on generative AI and the evolution of videogame creation:

'As you mentioned earlier, this is an era where even people who aren't game designers can make games.
