DeepSeek releases V4.1-Flash-1017 with a new search API

DeepSeek has released DeepSeek-V4.1-Flash-1017, which the company says improves benchmark scores while shortening task runtime and output length. The update also adds DeepSeek Harness 0.2.1 optimizations for agent frameworks and a self-developed Search API with Search and Fetch endpoints. Search API calls are priced at 5 yuan per 1,000 successful requests and are free through November 1.
