Claude Code revenue doubles since January, per Simon Willison quote

Opus'd Quoted post (@simonw): Claude Code's run-rate revenue has grown past $2.5 billion, more than doubling since the start of 2026. Weekly active Claude Code users have also doubled since January 1. Doubled in 6 weeks! Or is that a bit of a cheat due to holidays?
