FLUX 3 Image Klein is Black Forest Labs' 5.6B parameter open weights image model, released on October 15 under the FLUX Kommunity License. The license is free for non-commercial use, and commercial use of outputs is allowed for individuals and companies with under $5M USD in annual revenue. It joins FLUX 3 Image, released on October 1, which ranks #13 on AA-Image-T2I v2.1 and #15 on AA-Image-Editing v2.1. Both models support Text to Image and Image Editing, and we evaluated both at 1K resolution through BFL's API, which applies BFL's prompt upsampler.
FLUX 3 Image Klein is priced at $0.009 per image ($9 per 1k images) at 1K resolution on the BFL API, 40% below FLUX.2 [klein] 9B on BFL's API. FLUX 3 Image is priced at $0.048 per image ($48 per 1k images). Klein is available through the BFL API and the BFL Playground, with open weights on Hugging Face. FLUX 3 Image is available through the BFL API, fal and OpenRouter.
