⚡Gemini 4 Argon for doing what Google does best - making codebases more modular, faster, and performance-optimized.
Gemini 4 Argon refactors a 3D carriage site into modular code
AISummary
Paige Bailey says Gemini 4 Argon can make codebases more modular, faster, and performance-optimized. @thebuggeddev says Argon refactored a 4,290-line monolithic HTML file into modular ES6 architecture and replaced 25MB of blocking base64 JavaScript with streamed binary glb files. The source says the changes left the site's appearance unchanged.

A lot of people, including Theo, have called Gemini 4 Argon unusable for real code work. So I asked it to refactor the entire Gothic Victorian Carriage 3D website it built and make whatever improvements it thought were necessary. Entirely on its own. 🫡 It literally turned a 4,290 line monolithic HTML file into modular ES6 architecture, replaced 25MB of blocking base64 JavaScript with binary glb streaming, eliminated per-frame Vector3 allocations and DOM layout reads, and shared GPU buffers across wheel pairs. All without changing a single pixel, that too in one attempt. You can see performance below. I'm not sure how everyone is using Argon but it really isn't "unusable" lol Btw, you can check whole codebase here, open sourced: https://github.com/thebuggeddev/carriage
